Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Conflict Resolution

Abstract Conflict resolution is essential to obtain cooperation in many scenarios such as politics and business, well our day life. The importance of conflict has driven research fields like anthropology, social science, psychology, mathematics, biology and, more recently, artificial intelligence. Computer science intelligence have, turn, been inspired by theories techniques from these disciplines, which led a variety computational models approaches, automated negotiation, group decision making, argumentation, preference aggregation, human-machine interaction. To bring together the different strands disciplines resolution, Workshop on Resolution Decision Making (COREDEMA) was organized. This special issue benefited workshop series, consists significantly extended revised selected papers ECAI 2016 COREDEMA workshop, completely new contributions.
